Brigade Hotel Ventures, which was recently listed on the stock market, announced a deal with Marriot International Inc. to open six hotels in four key markets, according to a statement.
This expansion will feature hotels under the five brands viz. The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Courtyard by Marriott and Fairfield by Marriott. The six hotels will constitute a total of 940 rooms, Brigade said in the statement. The hotels will be Courtyard Marriot and JW Marriot in Chennai, Ritz Carlton and Marriot Hotel in Kerala and two Fairfield hotels in Bengaluru, the company said in its release.
The expansion plan will begin with the Courtyard Marriot in Chennai in fiscal 2027 and end with JW Marriot in Chennai by fiscal 2030.
The expansion now makes a total of eight hotels in the Marriot-Brigade partnership. The existing ones are Sheraton Grand at Bengaluru and Four Points by Sheraton at Kochi.
