Bihar OFSS Class 11 admissions 2025: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will start the online application window for admissions to Class 11 for the 2025–27 academic session starting today, April 24, 2025. Students interested in pursuing Arts, Science, or Commerce streams can submit their OFSS BSEB applications via the Online Facilitation System (OFSS) portal. The application period will continue till May 3. Students can visit the official website– ofssbihar.net– to apply for admission.
To ensure a hassle-free application process, interested candidates have to collect some of the important documents, including marksheets, photographs, and category certificates and have to keep them prepared in advance. The official OFSS website also guides aspirants by sharing comprehensive guidelines and eligibility details to help BSEB students and parents navigate the application procedure.
Bihar OFSS Class 11 admissions 2025: Application fees
To apply for admission, students are required to complete and submit their BSEB OFSS application forms online via the portal. The application fee has been revised to Rs 350 — an increase of Rs 50 from previous years.
The BSEB OFSS application will only be considered valid once the admission fees are paid successfully. Applications submitted without payment will be rejected. Candidates can conveniently pay the fee through multiple online payment methods provided on the portal.
Bihar OFSS Class 11 admissions 2025: Merit list
Candidates will be allotted schools and colleges according to their position in the BSEB OFSS merit list, which will be prepared based on their marks in the Class 10 board exams. Those whose names do not feature in any of the three BSEB merit lists will have an opportunity to seek admission in Class 11th through the spot admission process.
BSEB Bihar Class 10th Results 2025
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) had declared the results for the Bihar Board Matric (Class 10) exam 2025 on March 29. This year, in the Bihar Board Class 10 exams, more girls participated than boys. A total of 805,392 girls appeared for the exams, while 752,685 boys took part. Overall, the total passing percentage for the BSEB Matric (Class 10) result 2025 is 81.11 per cent.
The gender-wise pass percentage for the recent examination reveals notable trends. Among male candidates, a total of 752,685 students appeared for the exam, out of which 629,620 passed and 123,065 failed, resulting in a pass percentage of 83.65%.

Meanwhile, 805,392 female candidates took the exam, with 649,674 successfully clearing it and 155,718 failing, bringing their pass percentage to 80.67%. Collectively, across both genders, 1,558,077 students appeared for the exam, out of which 1,279,294 passed while 278,783 failed, leading to an overall pass percentage of 82.11%.
