Attack, protest against Christmas carols unfortunate: Archbishop

Terming the attacks on and opposition to Christmas carols as unfortunate, Thrissur Archbishop Mar Andrews Thazhath said such incidents were deeply condemnable and went against the spirit of Christmas. “Christmas carols are the music of angels. They convey messages of joy and peace to all humanity. Attacks on such expressions of goodwill are highly deplorable. However, there should be no hostile or retaliatory response to such provocations, because Christmas is a celebration of peace and happiness,” the Archbishop said.
