A State-level exhibition that includes books containing school students’ creations will be held, Minister for General Education V. Sivankutty has said.
He was speaking at the release of books in connection with the anti-drug campaign under the State Institute of Languages here on Friday. Grace marks for book reading were under government consideration, the Minister said.
The Minister said that this academic year, school ambassadors and peer group leaders would function actively.
The books brought out by the State Institute of Languages include Arun B. Nair’s Manassum Aasakthikalum and C. Ramaswami Chettiar’s Lahariyilninnum Kuttikalude Mochippikkam. Director of General Education Shanavas S. received the books from the Minister. State Institute of Languages director M. Sathyan presided.
