A young woman actor who recently triggered a storm in political circles by raising allegations of sexual misconduct against a young politician in Kerala has lodged a complaint alleging a cyberattack against her following the incident.
She filed the complaint with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan via email with copies marked to the District Police Chief (Kochi Rural), Munambam DySP, and the cyber police.
In her complaint, the actor said a smear campaign was being carried out against her through social media platforms. She has named YouTubers Shajan Skariah, T. P. Nandakumar and Rahul Easwar in her complaint and attached links to contents with alleged defamatory remarks against her.
An officer with the Ernakulam Rural police said that further action on the complaint will be taken after following due procedures.
