Route marches, public meetings mark RSS centenary fete in Kochi

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) organised public meetings and route marches in the district on October 1 and 2 to mark the centenary celebrations of the organisation.

Route marches were taken out at 100 centres and public meetings in 122 places. Jacob Thomas, former Director General of Police, attended a meeting held at Muvattupuzha on October 1, the organisers said.

Senior RSS functionaries O.K. Mohanan, S. Sethumadhavan, J. Nandakumar, and K. Venu were among those who attended the programmes.

A book on RSS activities in Kerala was also released at the functions. A mass contact programme, organised in connection with the centenary celebrations, will be launched on October 5, the organisers said.
