Woman injured in wild boar attack in Idukki

A 48-year-old woman sustained injuries in a wild boar attack at Sevanalayam Curve near Pambanar in Idukki on Sunday. The injured was identified as Jessy, a resident of Pambanar. According to local people, the wild animal attacked the woman around 6.30 a.m. on Sunday when she was on her way to the Sacred Heart Church at Pambanar. She was rushed to the Peerumade Taluk Hospital and was later shifted to the Kottayam Medical College Hospital.
