Deputy tahsildar in charge of land acquisition for Kochi-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor Jayakrishnan, 48, collapsed and died while leaving his home for duty on Wednesday.
He was from Ananganadi near Ottappalam. Though he was rushed to a hospital at Vaniyamkulam, his life could not be saved. Hospital sources said he died of a heart attack.
