Crime Branch to probe Peroorkada custodial harassment case

The Thiruvananthapuram District Crime Branch will investigate the alleged custodial harassment case registered on the basis of Nedumangad native Bindhu R.’s complaint.

The Peroorkada police had recently registered the case following an order from the State Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes Commission. Her former employer Omana Daniel, her daughter, Nisha, who allegedly filed a false complaint accusing Ms. Bindhu of theft; sub-inspector Prasad S.G. and assistant sub-inspector Prasannakumar K.S. of the Peroorkada police station were booked in the case.
