Four killed as house gutted in fire in Idukki

Four people were killed after a house caught fire at Kombodinjal, near Adimaly, in Idukki, on Saturday evening. The dead were identified as Subha, her children Abhinand, 9, and Abhinav, 5, and Subha’s mother Ponnamma, 75. The police said Abhinav’s body had been identified. The house, located in a sparsely populated area, was destroyed in the fire. The police said the cause of the accident needed to be investigated. The Vellathooval police and Fire and Rescue Services personnel reached the spot and initiated further procedures.
