70-year-old man dies of wasp attack in Aluva

A 70-year-old man was killed after being stung by a swarm of wasps at Keezhmad near Aluva on Wednesday. The deceased, Sivadasan, was attacked by the wasps when he went to graze his cow on a field near his house. His son, who rushed to save Mr. Sivadasan on hearing his cries, was also stung by the wasps.

Though Mr. Sivadasan was rushed to a government hospital in Aluva, he succumbed to the stings. His son was out of danger, the police said. The police have registered a case of unnatural death over the incident.
